About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to travel to cool places and meet interesting people!

ABOUT ME

I have been working for an international NGO in Germany that works in promoting climate resilience and sustainable development around the world. I recently completed a Masters of Urban Planning back home and an internship with UN-Habitat in Kenya. I also used to work for the human rights organisation Peace Brigades International (PBI) in Mexico trying to kick ass and do my bit for humanity.

Before all this, I grew up in country Australia on my parents' winery and ended up studying French, Spanish and Politics at university. I'm really into Bikram yoga, Australian football, soccer, trekking, scuba diving and the outdoors. I also obviously love traveling and have an insatiable thirst for adventure. I have lived in France (thrice!), Argentina, Mexico, Denmark, Kenya and have traveled all over Europe, Latin America and Southern Asia, as well as parts of Africa and the USA.

PHILOSOPHY

Happiness is not an end in itself, but the by-product of purposeful conduct.

Love the life that you live, live the life that you love.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - Uff too many..!!
Music - Again I have a very eclectic taste but funky-soul hip hop would be top of the list.
Books - Lots of classics such as Don Quixote, Madame Bovary, Siddharta, The Alchemist, 1984, The Lord of the Rings, Guns Germs & Steel, Dans la Recherche du Temps Perdu; just to name a few...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So many amazing things I've seen and done around the world!

But I'm happy I've stepped foot in over 40 different countries before I was 30 years old... and working in an animal refuge with jaguars, pumas and monkeys in Bolivia!

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy meeting people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds as I believe everybody has something to share and to teach others.
