I am very passionate about life, and I love to explore the little things that make you smile, the music that is playing in the background. I am curious about the details and I love to have fun and for me the glass is always half full... we can not change the past, once we learn it is ok to do mistakes and we try to learn from them, we can change the future and have such a much better life :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have started this Summer of 2012, and have hosted loads of people in my house in Cork, also been surfing in a few couches around Kiev, Lviv, Den Haag, Utrecht, Wroclaw, Lima and Galway.
Sometimes, I also join/suggest some CS events here in Cork like cliff jumping, picnics, climbing, cliff hiking and other fun outdoors things!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After so many experiences, unfortunately I can't say they are all super great and fantastic! But most of them are indeed very good :) and make the "not so good" ones to fade away... if you are reading this, I will give you a few tips to make better wise decisions:
- be careful with last minute requests for the next day... double check the profiles and look carefully!
- be careful about requests of X and friend... people should explain who they are bringing to your house with them.
- will they tell you that they will meet some other CS to show them around cause you have to work? OK... but make sure they are not posting their phone number in a public group and accept to hang out with any random people. Be careful about going out with them afters, you never know what kind of arrangement's were made while they went for a spin and how that can affect you and your safety!

Haven't had much time to read or go to the movies lately to be honest, but my favourite movies are:
- seven, private ryan, minority report, trainspotting, pulp fiction, forrest gump, THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON, old school tarantino...

Music: Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Doors, Led Zeppelin, The Black Keys, Kills, Metronomy, Death in vegas, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Sublime, Mano Chao, SOJA

Books: to be honest haven't finished a book in ages... last ones I did were written by Irvine welsh and some other surrealism books from Kafka, and love a book named "As formigas" think is "the Ants" in English from Boris Vian, the best surrealism book ever like :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I did scuba diving in the Maldives, that was pretty awesome... also jumped from a cliff to open waters, surf on big sea, change country and get a job with a different language and adapt to a different culture, be a father of two...

I can tell something about life experiences, positivism, being your true self and why it works, also love cooking, history, sport and music so that's something.

Love to learn about other cultures and lifestyles and habits... Sharing? Sharing is caring ahaha :)
