About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Put my humanity to practice and learn and then put my humanity to practice and learn and then put my humanity to practice and learn and then...
ABOUT ME
I have sensitive situation with my room mates which requires special consideration. Please read Room mate Section first .
I love people. I have been a coop-er for the last 3 years and it has changed my life. Coop is the best way to live. I was lucky to be part of Sherwood - a kick ass cooperative in Seattle. I graduated from University of Washington in May 2014 and moved to the Bay Area. I celebrate individuality, opinions, exploration, uncertainties, values, consciousness, sex, sexuality, diversity, liberties, freedom, honesty, truth, and human's inherent nature to perfection which is because of and not despite their failings. I abide by the choice of pronouns. I love cooking - really, I do. I have been to Burning Man 5 times - 2011 and 2012, 2014,2015, 2016 always camped with Dustfish. I came to America from India in 2011 to study acting. I am consistently negotiating and conversing with the urge of ego, anger and the habitual pattern of body shaming based on negative identity - I am still figuring this out for myself, especially with respect to the perspective of color. I am a transgender person, preferred pronouns (all of them and any) and I love color , dance and human contact. I love telling and listening to stories and laughing - that's my favorite.
In order to avoid blanket requests, to all who wish to say with me, you must copy and paste this in your message " I understand that I may have to share the same room space with you and I will respect your roommates privacy and space by being mindful of all the various gender and body identities that thrive in ColorBliss"
PHILOSOPHY
love faith truth

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled to Ladakh (4000 ft above sea level) by road. Left a career in marketing to start a new life as an actor. Left my country to come to America to learn acting. That amazes me still.
Teach, Learn, Share
The India I know. The life I have lived. The stories you want to lend. These precious moments that we want to share - brought together by Universe's vast logic and chance,
Some favorite dishes to cook -it's so easy hahaha *very falsely modest laugh*
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am not very familiar with sights and surroundings but if I have time I will love to see them with you. I can share my thoughts and be open to yours. I have a kick ass group of friends though who know this area very well so we can always ask them for advice :)
