About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To get a grip

ABOUT ME

I was born in Bulgaria and I currently live in Prague - a very beautiful city with amazing views and street art.

Something I love: writing!
Something I don't find as cool: noise, crowds and narrow-mindedness.

I feel most at home among nature. I explore new places with passion and I am curious about perceptions and relationships and why people do things. My biggest flaw (apart from being a grammar nazi sometimes) is that I get lost a lot. It's called topographic cretinism. But I always find myself in the end and that's what counts!

Two things I am proud of - I am very independent and I have a sophisticated garbage disposal system!

I try to live in the golden middle between planning and being spontaneous until the bitter end. It just feels good to keep away from extremity. I am also tolerant and open to all kinds of stuff. I normally don't judge and I mind my own business unless something pisses me off.

My bitter-sweet sense of humour seems like something that most people enjoy.

Of course, I like eating, drinking, chatting and dancing but everyone says that so I'd rather talk about dreams. I am an owl and I spend long hours during the night contemplating on life and digesting stress and happiness. This is rewarded with vivid dreams in the morning that I like to tell people about.

Ok, I am bit of a weirdo but you will probably like me. If you feel like a weirdo too and you are thinking of staying with me, you are most likely barking up the right tree.

PHILOSOPHY

When in doubt, poke it with a stick!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I believe that strangers and random encounters can be the greatest teachers in life. Their stories help me connect the dots. So I host people, I hang out with couchsurfers and I've been a guest a few times.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite movies: deep, scary, European, documentaries, apocalyptic, with zombies or vampires

Favourite books: those that keep me awake at night and I finish in one breath

Favourite music: live

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'll give you FIVE:

A trip to a genuine accordion workshop in the Czech Republic with two great musicians
Touring with a gypsy jazz band in France
Joining a research mission in Mongolia
Erasmus in Istanbul
The most amazing climbing trip in Germany with shooting stars and everything

Teach, Learn, Share

I normally teach people how to separate their garbage.
