About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find a couch on the moon

ABOUT ME

I consider myself outgoing, friendly and a very curious person, who's always up to learn something new. I've been told that Danes can be a little reserved and hard to get to know, but my foreign friends say I'm different. I've been traveling the world myself and know how important it is to feel welcome. With me you will be!

PHILOSOPHY

Replace fear of the unknown with curiosity.

Used to always say "I don't see why not!"

Here's a quote I really like by Anaïs Nin :
"Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I've been hosting and I'm also up for a coffee or drink. If time allows I can take fellow CS'ers around sightseeing. I prefer not to host more than a few days at a time, but it depends on my work situation. Always ask.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Been hosting quite a few now so far and they haven't scared me away from the CS scene...yet!

I surfed for the first time myself in Chicaco around December 2008. Also been meeting up for drinks and coffee both home and away.

Interests

Tech, computers, airplanes, architecture, design, politics, travels, scuba-diving, movies and GOOD FOOD (although I suck at cooking)!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Haven't seen a really fantastic movie lately. Love anything as long as there is a little substance or humour to it. Anything from French movies to Sci-fi is good.
With regards to music, I like anything from moody melancholic rock, jazz and pop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have participated in four Paralympic Games in swimming (1992-2004) and I love all the experiences my sport has given me.

Teach, Learn, Share

People say I know a lot of weird stuff, but obviously I can tell you about Denmark, Danish culture and the Danes if you like! .. and I can teach you how to swim as a bonus!

Myself, I'd like to know more about Japan, China or Asia in general. So many cool things come out of Japan, like cosplay, gadgets and yakitori!
