COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It’s mixed.
I joined CS in 2008 when my friend told me how good/interesting people he met during short traveling just for a lunch or meet up in the city / not necessarily only getting accommodation/

I hosted many-many people since. Some of them are already my friends and I can’t be more thankful to creators of CS that I met them..But there is some % of people who never did and never will host anybody, who created the account just days before they travel in order to get only free accommodation..
As i see profile of people or requests, i think 80% of people just surf and 20% sometimes host.. and it's not good..

For me CS is the platform to meet good/ interesting people for the present or for the future.. Or just to roll good karma little further ;)

But i love Tribe of Real Travelers ! :)

Living through my dreams... / for example hitch-hiking from Prague through Paris, London-flying to Usa, traveling all around USA, becoming part of Manhattan for many many years untill present ;) /..
Or 1,5 year journey from Europe through Turkey, Iran, Pakistan to India, Nepal, Asia, Australia..
Or skydiving in Hawaii..Many times sleeping on some island under bilion of stars..camel ride for 3 days in India..Hiking in Nepal..10days cycling through Canadian national parks etc etc

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Over the years of travelling through the planet, a lot of strange people helped me ,although even through smile, advice etc.. I was always returning something back to community of travelers if I could without destroying my present life :-)
