Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ive had only amazing experiences so far. A friend of mine (Leafsfan85) convinced me to try counchsurfing on a trip to Greece, and it was amazing. Our hosts were more trusting and generous than I ever would have believed possible (especially for someone who's never met you) and since then each experience has been similar.

Interests

I like to travel (of course), and try to do so as much as possible, but when I'm stuck at home I enjoy hanging out with my friends, going out, drinking, meeting people, and all that kind of stuff. Other interests include Architecture (Toronto's good like that) and all kinds of sports.

Music, Movies, and Books

You'll have to ask me - my taste in music changes all the time, and I like so many movies I dont even want to try to list them. Except for "Santa Clause Conquers the Martians" which will always deserve special mention.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Japan I was attacked by a Monkey!

Teach, Learn, Share

Fun place to travel if you are a young Canadian or American in Europe:
Interlaken, Switzerland.
In the summer, the small mountain town is converted into a great party town. There are 2 main hostels across the road from each other both with nice rooms, a lot of property where they have bonfires at night, and of course - lots of bars. During the day, if you have the money, there are tons of activities, from skydiving, to Motorcycle rentals, even "Canyoning". A few days there will cost a lot of money, but its well worth it. When I was there, the town was overrun with Canadians, which can be nice on a long trip abroad.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, Japan
