Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I usually do hotels etc. but one time, I went to stay at a friend's house in Madrid, Spain. It was an entirely different experience since they showed me around the city, with their favourite spots etc.
I like finding random stuff on my own and I still enjoy the more touristy stuff (I like to think they got famous for a reason), but this gave me a third option for enjoying a visit and Couchsurfing (=meeting locals) is my way of replicating that experience!

On the other side of this, I like meeting new people who are visiting my city and showing them around.
