Usually I do solo for travelling for the maximum flexibility and meeting new people. Sometimes I do like loneliness and appreciate the quiet moments of the world, yet, I really love to share travel stories, experience and culture with whoever I meet along the trip. But these years I started to do some travelling with my boyfriend or friends as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What inspired me to join the CS community is my 2-months internship in Spain, where I stayed in both Barcelona and Madrid for some time. It was a great experience that I met different people from the shared house, and knew much about different cultures and food. I know that understanding a country is not from a few stops at the tourist spots, but to meet with people and get engaged with the local culture.

I am a frequent traveler who loves to learn local culture and local spots. I was so tired of travelling in the conventional way, hit and run tourist spots without knowing whats going on with the country and its beautiful culture and history. So Couchsurfing is really the best place for me to learn the REAL bits of places and the cultural formation of each town and city. I love to talk with whoever i met in my way and learn more about local lifestyle.

Interests

My interest is to try and learn as much as I can. I practicing Yoga, aerial yoga. sailing, hiking and cycling, etc. I have been into so many different hobbies before, say Karate, dances (ballet, flamenco, latin, jazz, pole, etc), flower arrangement, Thai boxing, etc... I was in a hip-hop dance performance group for 2 years before I continue my study for the master degree.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life's too amazing and there is too much to be told... ❤️ the very most reason i started CS is staying in Barcelona for 2 months, where i realised travelling is not about getting around the city but engage with the community and talk to people ;) Sometimes i find it quite interesting to see how culture from countries to cities could be so different that the judgement of being normal could be so diverse. 💩 there are times so difficult to get hosted when travelling with your boyfriend, hence, we crashed in some forest and sleep in the car for 4 days straight without shower. (Spontaneously for 1/4 of the travelling nights)👹 Jump from a truck after being sexual harassed by the hitch-hike driver.

I am familiar to japan travel as i have almost 'walked' around the country. So i can be a little guide telling you where to go ;) I have been on various cruises so i could give you some recommendation if you are interested.. If you wish. i could cook the Coca-cola flavoured chicken wings for you. It's kinda the only dish i know in hong kong style ;P
