ABOUT ME

Working 5 days a week and spending time with friends or family in the weekends. And spending al lot of time reading books and, let's be honest... spening a lot of time at the internet on Pinterest.

PHILOSOPHY

There are some quotes I really like.

When people walk away from you, let them go. Your destiny is never tied to people who leave you. It doesn’t mean they’re bad people, it just means that their part in your story is over.

Don't make people a priority in your life when you're only an option in theirs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing a few years ago when I was backpacking in Jordan and Israël. I thought the best way to get to know a country is by meeting local people and staying away from the biggest touristplaces. I didn't know if I always could find a hostel so a friend recomended CS. I never got to use it myself but I did sleep at peoples homes instead of hostels.

In Egypt, Jerusalem, Poland and Jordan (at beautiful Petra). Not all planned ahead, but just by talking and drinking tea with local people did make me friends.
I had a great time sleeping at some family houses and learned a lot about the culture.

A friend I made in Egypt when he showed me around there and learned me to fish, stayed at my house for a long Easter weekend (I made him paint eggs). As well as the doughter of the Polisch family who josted me visited my home for a week. I got the change to show her a lot of our country like Madurodam and the tulipfeelds. It is so good to be able to return the favor.

I hope to meet a lot more people this way!

Interests

Reading books, running (really need to start doing that again cause I loved it), making glass art and glass in lead, walking at the beach, traveling, going out and seeing an artmovie of comedian at the theater, relaxing in the weekends when I don't have other oblications...

Books: Well.... I could go on and on because I read a book every week. I always carry one around with me.
