About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Seeing the world and learning a bit more about it and myself.
ABOUT ME
Been wanting to travel for a long time. So I'm finally in the position to after working a few years and paying off some university debt and saving a bit. I'm quite inquisitive and that's probably a large motivation for wanting to see the world. Quite often feel that life is short and there's so much to see. I have a bit of a dry sense of humour perhaps. It's hard describing yourself...
PHILOSOPHY
Something along the lines of live your life doing what you think is the right thing and that should help make you happy. Life's there for enjoying.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Met a guy in Sri Lanka on a bus who ended up inviting me to his family's house. They were very kind and brilliant hosts. Such a good experience and I felt I learnt a lot more about the place and people staying with locals rather than if I had passed through and only seen the touristy spots.
Interests
Travelling (obviously), learning about other cultures, cycling, science, what makes people tick, most academia really... Least interested in things like celeb gossip, hehe.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite things to watch are comedies like Peep Show, The Thick of It, The Office. Basically awkward British comedies although a big fan of Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
A few good films off the top of my head; Blade Runner, Human Traffic, Ferris Bewler's Day Off, Saving Private Ryan, Monty Python: Quest for the Holy Grail.
I like lots of bands but can't be bothered to list them! Mainly guitar stuff but not exclusively. Open to new music!
Books, need to read more for sure.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hmmmm, tough one. I'm not really the type to be dramatic about something! There's a 35 mile coastal walk from between my home town, Weymouth, and Swanage, along the side of beaches and up and down cliffs. It's a good days trek and I've done it three times. I think it's amazing because most of the route of visible from Weymouth bay and it's a view I've grown up with. Every time I look out I think what it was like to walk it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm usually the go to guy for computer problems and have already taught and helped quite a few people with technical problems while travelling. Also I can fix bicycles or lots of other things. The secret is mainly persistence. I'll explain everything, even though that bores some people!
