About Me

CURRENT MISSION

TO LET THE WORLD SEE ME!!

ABOUT ME

I'm a primary school science teacher in Shanghai, China. I love to dance, sing and cook. I really love to go out and see the world. CS has helped me do this many times. I'm not able to travel as much now that I'm teaching but that gives me the chance to give back to this community that has done so much for me. So if you like to chill out and listen to some dance music act silly and have some drinks I would love to host you.

PHILOSOPHY

Make what you can with you what you have!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted twins from the UK and other teachers within Georgia ... I vouch for friends and surfers. I give truthful responses and think we should all do the same. Give 100% to hosting. I have had some really rad hosts in the past and learned how to a good one by proxy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All over! Berlin, Krakow, Bratislava, Vienna, Budapest. Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Turkey, UAE and Tbilisi. My best time was in Bratislava were i meet my friend Szilvi from Hungary who traveled with me to Vienna and we went to see Death Cab for Cutie and John Vanderslice. then we meet back up in Budapest. this was in 2007, in 2010 I went back this time with my mother and meet back up with Szilvi and she meet my mom and we had a a really good time. I like to Surf with others I think that it shows the host how different people are and how ones culture is not always the same. But yet that doesnt matter when you are apart of a global community like CS.

Interests

Anything would be the easy answer to this question. But its just not the case. I love to write and making Music... I have DJed for for years now and played all over the world with my solo project Grab the Bat Killer. I can sit at my synth and my drum machine and be content for days. However now most my time is spent doing my studies for my teaching license from the US.
I studied Linguistics at the Evergreen State College. I also like going dancing and making a fool of myself while doing so. I love studying languages and learning from the world around me.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can knit or crochet something. I'd like to learn as much about were I'm visiting or hosting as possible. Share mishaps in traveling. Learning about the local music scene. How to cook some good food.
