Overview
About Me
Born in St. Petersburg / Russia and grew up in North of Germany.
An exciting job brought me to the south of Germany where I spent almost 6 years of my life at the desk, with clients and on international business trips focusing mainly on my career.
A very sudden decision was made to spend more time somewhere outside of Germany, before being ready to settle down and going into family plans.
I was lucky to get through the waiting list the Canadian Working-Holidays-Visa and arrived with my bicycle in snowy Toronto in March 2015.
One month later in New Brunswick, I was sitting in an old Dodge van.
This new "home" on wheels brought my friends, travel buddies, bike and myself to so many places.
The only province in Canada I haven´t been to so far is Nunavut.
I made it also to some places in US including Alaska.
As the winter in Canada is really cold and snowy, I disappeared along the east coast to Florida and drove over to west coast spending several weeks in California.
Back in Germany since end of March 2016 and would love to host when I can!
Currently in Ulm area, south of Germany.
Being a proud father of a 4 years old son who is commuting between two homes (mine and his mother).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing connects me with so versatile and interesting people.
Not only the local insights are so valuable, that no tourist will get by staying in a hostel or on a campground.
I met so many amazing people! Connections that sometimes resulted in a real friendship. I would have never met them all without CS!
