About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To do something socially useful while living a relaxed life. To travel widely. To take pleasure in both the simple and the complicated.
ABOUT ME
My partner, Megan, and I are pretty relaxed, but do tend to get into long involved discussions about silly points (you could call them arguments but usually no one gets mad!). We fancy that we are pretty non-judgmental. We really dig hanging out over a bottle (or two or three) of wine, taking picnics, playing frisbee, and cooking.
PHILOSOPHY
I don't think I really have one. I suppose it would be great if everybody introspected a bit more and I'd love to see less hypocrisy in the world. I once made a bumper sticker that read, "End the Non-Sequiturs". I stand by that as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Got married on the beach in Mexico, quit a high-paying corporate job to do something that makes me feel good, hitchhiked from Cambridge (UK) to Morocco, seen the Sahara desert, been to a deserted island off the coast of Honduras
Teach, Learn, Share
I spent three years working with asylum seekers and immigrant victims of domestic violence. I have worked with persecuted politicians, journalists, genocide victims, and inspiring women just trying to raise their family free from violence. Many have survived gruesome torture or violence. It has been inspiring and memorable and the courage of my former clients continues to guide me in my study of the law.
I want to learn everything!!
