ABOUT ME

After 20 years of formal schooling, I've finally gotten out of academia and am living in the "real world." Hopefully that will open up opportunities that haven't been available till now.

I'm generally a pretty low-key person, I prefer to listen more than to talk. Hopefully CS will give me lots of opportunities to listen to lots of interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music. Really. I mean, I love it. I heard someone once say that all genres have standout artists, and I agree wholeheartedly, and I love listening to any of those artists. Some favorites include: Jon Foreman, Caedmon's Call, Relient K, House of Heroes, Carbon Leaf, Jars of Clay, Anberlin, Andy Osenga, Ben Folds, Blues Traveller, Derek Webb, Hush Sound, Jackson Browne, Marc Broussard, Eric Hutchinson, Raul Midon, and so so much more.

Movies: I enjoy movies, but don't really have "favorites."

Books: Same as movies. I enjoy C.S. Lewis and Orson Scott Card especially, but really I just enjoy good writing, fiction or non.
