About Me

CURRENT MISSION

see europe!

ABOUT ME

I'm between semesters in London and Florence. While I've been studying architecture at school for some time, it seemed reasonable to get to intimately know some cities outside of the central New York. Traveling has always sounded really exciting to me, so its almost surreal to actually get to be doing this now.

Nothing gets me going like my sketchbook, camera, and some fresh city streets.

PHILOSOPHY

Can I answer when my trip is over?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd love to get to know some people in the places I will be visiting over the next few months and hope to be able to host visitors (if anyone makes their way up to my area of New York state) once I get back this coming summer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, hopefully some soon!

Music, Movies, and Books

Listening: The Decemberists, Radiohead, Pat Methany, Aloha, Spoon, Bob Dylan, British pop music that won't leave my head after months of being surrounded by it.

Reading: Moby Dick (my third attempt at reading this book. I'm beginning to think i like the idea of reading it more than actually doing so) and Delirious New York.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Summited Mt. Coldon in the Adirondacks on a route up the trap dike gone all wrong. Never has a view looked so good.

Walked through Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Stockholm all in the same week. Completely solidified my love for old European cities.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn from people about where they live - just little things about the culture, places to see and all.

Maybe in trade I can tell stories about the way things are back home. Or amatuer-ishly help encourage someone to draw.

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, Netherlands, Sweden

Countries I’ve Lived In

United Kingdom, United States
