ABOUT ME

i am a 19 year old writer who lives with his mum in a small cozy home in the middle of kuala lumpur--brickfields (home to so many different wacky and weird types of people and culture.a self proclaimed activist at day and an anarchist at night who goes around the city spraying all sorts of stuffs in the name of graffiti.i don't drive because i don't believe to,i cycle where ever i go except to school in the morning as i am half a sleep.
I spend my time writing all sorts of stuff which i have the stomach for,love watching films with a cause, also spend most of my time advocating for social issues concerning the local people and international community(when u do this in Malaysia your so called an activist)have lots of wonderful friends whom i love so much and love spending time with
during my weekends either i am on the streets for a protest or in a far far away land learning and meeting new people and their culture..but i make it an obligation to spend my Sunday mornings having breakfast with mum and sharing my entire week's story with her(people say aww... your a mommy's boy and i whats say--"yes!"
i barely comb my hair,rarely shop for new clothes or things (as i am with this weird bunch of youths who hate consuming)..i cook my own meals..i can definitely cook you some nice meals together with good companionship over the dinner table..(dont worry lah i will still take you to venture the local food scene)
i am obsessed with books as it brings me to a whole different dimension n allows me to travel without moving from my couch.
overall i am a weirdo who loves to talk a lot(i mean it! a lot!),loves laughing about anything under this sun,loves bitching around with everyone or anyone(i got robbed because of this attitude of mine a few times),i love sharing all what i have with everyone..i am just me the simple person who i am.
but i can assure you that while your with me on your stay U WILL HAVE 6 MEALS A DAY A DESCENT PLACE TO SLEEP EAT AND SHIT..TAKE TO ALL THE BIZARRE PLACES I KNOW, AND WILL TRY TO MAKE U FUSS WITH OUR BIZARRE MALAYSIAN LAH LAH CULTURE..MOST OF ALL I WILL LOVE AND TAKE VERY GOOD CARE OF YOU JUST AS A PART OF ME AND AS A FAMILY OF MINE.

Interests

Reading poems on top of a hill ,hiking, skinny dipping,
eating ice cream under the rain, wandering in the graveyard, sparking conversations with strangers ,read,write and dream.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books keeps me truly alive,it creates an imaginary safe space when fear and hatred take over the day.Writer Nobokov once said "readers are born free and ought to remain free" Into the wild and Becoming a man by Paul Monette are two of my most treasured reading pieces.
Music to me is soul.i am unable to fully sing a single song lyric,may sing a bit here and there.
Into the wild by Sean Penn and the movie Simon Birch are two top picks of mine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i went to Sarawak(east Malaysia) and spent a week with the indigenous folks there in the midst of a thick jungle!!!!!!!!

Writer T.S Elliot once said "the world is a comedy for those who think,and a tragedy for those who feel"
I love reading,but i no it not enough,i want to feel.To feel and need to touch,to touch i need to be at the moment.This to me is essential.To fall in love with random strangers,to share what i have,to travel and meet lives,to write to share my thought and heart with the world.
I believe in simple living,living with what i have and what i need rather then things i want and consume to feed my greed.To quote my mum "simple living isnt simple anymore"..to me its important that to stand tall,head held high and face life in its eyes as it comes for you.and then smile.
