Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My experience has taught me that surrounding yourself with people that are adventurous and interesting helps to prevent you from getting dragged down into a mundane lifestyle. It seems logical that these types of inspiring people would best be found on a site like Couchsurfing.

Interests

I like to workout however and I'm going to start getting into body-weight routines.

In the past I've trained in Muay Thai, BJJ and Tae Kwon Do. I also did vinyasa for several years. I really like martial arts and yoga but I got into a motorcycle accident and injured my knee so I took a break for a while. Hopefully I get back into it though.

I lived in Colorado for 6 months and snowboarded all the time. I miss snowboarding

I have been on Vipassana meditation retreats, drank Ayahuasca and explored many other similar things!

Music, Movies, and Books

For music, I mostly listen to instrumental stuff or electronic. I don't really care for lyrics too much anymore. Favorite artists include Ludovico Einaudi, Nils Frahm, Balmorhea, Jean-Michel Blais, Olafur Arnalds, Max Richter and others

Some of my favorite movies are The Fountain, Fight Club, Shutter Island, Requiem for a Dream, Drive, and a lot of others I can't think of right now.

I'm a terrible reader, so any book that can keep my attention would be on this list. That includes The Giver, Artemis Fowl, The Hobbit, Siddhartha, Flowers for Algernon and some others. Last year I read all 7 Harry Potter books and now I'
