Surfing at the moment, and hopefully hosting more once I get back to the US.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couch surf experience was when a friend of my roommate 2 years ago called us up to tell us a guy from New Zealand was going to be showing up at our house in a few hours- the friend lived 4 hours away and had sent him to us! I hadn't heard of couch surfing before then but after learning more about it I thought it was such a great way to not only travel on a budget, but also to meet people and get the best possible experience in an unfamiliar place.

Interests

I love the outdoors- I do some competing in cross country skiing and road/mountain biking, but mostly I just love exploring and being outside! I also downhill ski, run, hike, sometimes rock climb, kayak, surf.... I have always lived in very outdoorsy places so I am lucky!
