ABOUT ME

I finished my Peace Corps service in Jalalabad, Kyrgyzstan in June and then travelled for 5 weeks through the Balkans/Eastern Europe which was awesome! Now I'm living in Arlington, Virginia and working on finding a job in DC!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to host people whenever I have the chance, and if I can't host I like to meet and get to know people. I love cooking for guests and trading traveling stories with other adventurers!

I love traveling by couchsurfing. You get a much better feel for the place you're visiting by staying with actual residents of the country then if you were to stay in a hostel or hotel. You meet the most fascinating people and I feel it really enriches not only your traveling experience but also your life!

Every couchsurfing experience I've had has been great. I've hosted some very cool people and have been lucky to always have the most interesting and kind hosts wherever I go!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've climbed the Great Pyramid in the middle of the night and watched the sun rise over Cairo!

Hmmm, what can I share? I can teach you:

-the basics of fencing.

-how to bake many tasty desserts
