About Me
LIFELONG MISSION - To trot around the globe.
My Present- I just moved to Melilla to teach English and I've gotten to a great start. Looking forward to showing my fellow couchsurfers around.
Early 2024 vibes....I somehow don't feel like backspacing all of the stuff I have typed more than a decade ago but here's what's been going on in the last few months. Just returned from my dream West Africa trip and I'm headed to Hungary for yet another volunteering stint.
Last year, I received a negative reference for the first time. I can't deny that it bothered me because I did all the things is a good host is supposed to do but there's a first time for everything. I've only had pleasant experiences ever since. :)
2023 UPDATE: This is the second time I've been living in Porto. The first was in 2018, when I had lingered for almost a year until I had to move back to Goa.
I'm thrilled to be back here. My ex has agreed of offer me shelter until I find my own place. I can host twice a month. It all depends on my schedule.
2020 UPDATE: I have been a nomad for a while, which is why I have more hosts than surfers. It does make me feel uneasy because I kinda want to host again.
ABOUT ME
Adventurous, Experimental, Spontaneous with an unreliable sense of humour(as some would say).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music- Sigur Ros, Radiohead and (Asa is my new obsession).
Books- The Wizard of Oz, Picture of Dorian Gray
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. Mounting my body up the Final destination of a trek in Himachal Pradesh. While trekking, i interacted with the most congenial locals and on having arrived, I was elated to lend my ears to a congregation of Israelis crooning and tapping their off-beat instruments. As tiring as it was(for I wasn't prepared for a trek at all), I couldn't help but heave a "Wow, this was so worth it!".
2. At a bar in New Delhi, I was amazed with the diversity of people gathered at the dance-floor. Black, Yellow, White and Brown. Young, Middle-aged and Fossilized. All kinds of people united in music and alcohol.
