ABOUT ME
My profile had not been updated for 7 years despite the fact I've been active on and off for all those years. Fortunately it doesn't mean I'm outdated; I'm just an older version of the seven year younger me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to travel world from my own couch. Ever since I was introduced to the Couchsurfing project by a friend, hosting has always stayed close to my heart. To me travel is as much a social experience as it is a cultural one. CS provide the opportunity to do both whether you travel or if you just stay at home.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
This is how I met my wife. I really can't imagine my life without her.
I met one of my best friends through CS. He was the best man in my wedding. That title sums up our relationship.
All the amazing people I've hosted.
We had a taste of country life for one weekend in rural Czech Republic. We picked potatoes surrounded by old Communist songs. On a visit to a grandmother, she would happily share her locally distilled slivovice and we had the courtesy to become tipsy. We went to a nearby fair to eat tasty lángos and ride the bumper cars, until we had to leave the lights, music and laughter behind and go home across fields of darkness.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste is eclectic: I do not prefer a style, genre og author above any other. I'm like a cat; I follow whatever catch my interest.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On the observation deck the Torre Latinoamericana one can witness the city below sprawl into the night like a neverending rampant wildfire on the savannah. It's the terrestial equivalent of a wonderful starlight sky.
Teach, Learn, Share
PHOTOGRAPHY: It's my profession.
FOODIE: Me and my wife enjoy to cook. We are not the snobby gourmand types, but we are passionate about tasteful food and food culture. Hopefully we can swap some great recipes.
BOARDGAMES: I'm evangelic about analog fun. Forget Monopoly, contemporary boardgames are sleek machines of fun. It's an awesome pastime, and I have a collection to back up that statement. Whether you like your game silly or thoughtful, I have a game for every taste.
