About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Making money. Travel. Making some more money. Travel.

ABOUT ME

I could identify my self with my future profession (in law), my fairly orderly life (as engaged and studying) or why not the sports I do (I run). I chose to do neither, and instead identify myself with my view on life. I really happy to be here (no, not stupid-happy) and try to enjoy every day as much as I can. The life I live sometimes feel like intermissions between travels, and it can be hard to re-adjust to the routine of a settled life after a long trip. A three month trip can feel like 3 years to me!

I live with my fiancee in a small apartment in Lund, the city where I study. I grew up far away, though, in the north of the country, and I didn't very feel comfortable there. (It was a nice, quiet little town, though.)

PHILOSOPHY

I'm an Objectivist. This means that I believe that there is one reality that we can percieve, and that man is one and indivisible. Our nature is different from all other life forms, and thus we require unique conditions in order to thrive. The life I live is a goal in itself, and not a mean for others to use. My personal happiness is my moral purpose. This I get partly from travelling, which is the best thing I know. I like it, therefore I do it, and I'll keep doing it al long as I have the opportunity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have met interesting people during my trips, and I had the pleasure to host some people. Send me a message and I'll see if it fits my (tight) schedule!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Overall extremely positive. The overwhelming majority of surfers I've met are nice people with good intentions, and a few I have not worked out with for different reasons. Before 2010, my experience with CS was limited to meeting a few people in Israel, and surfing in Russia and China. In the summer of 2010, however, I decided to really use CS extensively in my travels in the U.S. And boy, it was fun!

Interests

Well, I enjoy travelling more than anything else (obviously). Other than that, I'd say that ideas matter very much to me (see "personal philosophy"), and that I also very much enjoy meeting new people and discussing things. I dislike talkning about current events and politics (uninteresting).

The Beatles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen Manhattan, which a monument to human greatness. I once smacked a wasp with my empty water bottle to the floor, then proceeding to triumphantly destroy it with the bottle. In SpeedO's.
