CURRENT MISSION

Seeing the world. My life took last year a turning point so I decided to start travelling now outside of Europe and see all the beauty of the world and to understand a bit more of how other people in the world live their lifes.

ABOUT ME

I am torn into two personalities (not in a medical condition way):

1st personality ("Couch potato"): being all day alone at home, sitting, thinking, reading, doing creative stuff like painting, gardening, sewing clothes, arguing with myself, drinking coffee, going alone to museeums, going alone shopping, wandering alone through strange cities, travelling alone. I just love being on my own, because just then you can really listen to your inner voice.

2nd personality ("the-bubbly-one"): Jumping and dancing around the life, talking to every person I meet, volunteering in a refugee campaign and trying to help where ever I can, discovering new things, meeting friends in the pub or for a coffee, discussing all night long with friends or strangers about life, politics and whats going on in the world.

All in one: I am a very open minded person, which loves to discover the world from different perspectives of life!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I study Sociology I love watching peoples on the street, try to see clusters and coherencies and learn something from it. Travelling in diffrent societies teachs you the most about your society and yourself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used to couchsurf till now just with people I already known a bit. It happend often that I went to London and stayed every night in the living room or kitchen cooking, chatting and watching dvds with my friends.
For example I couchsurfed at a friends place in Milan who participates also at couchsurfing, so not sure if this counts ;-)

In my spare time I volunteer in a refugee campaign (almost a second job sometimes) to help refugees to find their ways through the complicated german bureaucracy.Translating, showing around and giving the best support in their life here are the goals of me doing that.

I love cooking and baking with a lot of effort. I like German apple studel, carrot-walnut-cakes, gooseberries-pudding cake... with that I spend my evenings!
