ABOUT ME
I have recently started doing freelance journalism work after graduating from university in Montreal, and am interested in African politics, media and news, photography and anything creative with a clear view of how you view the world. I am from New York City and believe that my world view has been strongly shaped by the tremendous richness of life in NY.
PHILOSOPHY
I would ideally describe it as Marxist, anti-racist, anti-imperialist, feminist but honestly I'm open and still figuring it out.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite movies is probably Bamako by Abderrahmane Sissoko, and I like Jean Rouch as well. Currently I'm reading some Kapusckinski books and am enjoying those.
