ABOUT ME

We have often been called Natural Tour Guides as we love to share our area with others in a non-commercial way. Our love of the outdoors extends through kayaking, geocaching, sea glass hunting and other seasonal activities. Our love of cultures and foods has helped us to seek out lesser-known restaurants and festivals. We are a musical family known to often break out in song during conversations and our living room has been taken over by two pianos, three guitars, a drum set and various random instruments for others to play. We love to entertain and be entertained. My husband is vegetarian, but loves to cook meat for the rest of the family.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Friendships around the world have given us the opportunity to open our doors for many years. Having learned about CS, we are excited to extend and expand on those opportunities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It has never been hard for us to take our family places where a floor or a backyard is available and we have always made arrangements for anyone traveling through. It was only after extending this courtesy to a current CSer that we discovered we could be part of a larger community.

Sharing stories and songs, day trips, water adventures, discovering lesser-known and uncommon locations, sharing known places with others, visiting open-air markets, impromptu concerts with local musicians, and learning of other's interests.

It is our boggling our minds to even start listing things here. If you like it, we probably do too. We are forcing ourselves to list six movies we like. Most all documentaries, Jane Austen films, Bridget Jones Diaries, Bill Murray films and independent films can be found in our collection.
