ABOUT ME

I am Koen. I want to do things that I haven't done yet. I like to meet people and hear their stories. I can get along with a lot of people. I want to become a better artist. I like acting, singing, presenting. I hope I will always stay young. I am a christian, but the kind that can get along with all kinds of people with their own way of living. I'm married to the beautiful lady on my profile picture.

I'm a full time filmmaker and musician. My band is called Lieve Bertha and we write Dutch songs. We have a growing fan base in the Netherlands. Our website: www.lievebertha.nl.

I believe that there are more good people then you see when you're not looking for it. I've met so many good, and open-minded people.

The way to really experience things is to just go without to much plans.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting different people. When I travel. I mostly travel with a friend of mine. We are musicians and when we travel, we hitchhike. We play on the streets wherever we go. Through Couch Surfing I hope to meet a lot of other people. Because I think that, wherever you go, the people are the most interesting. I have a great couch! Please be the first to surf on it! I would love to tell other people about my experiences and country.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been to Several European cities. I had several hosts and I discovered that I really don't know why I haven't used CS before. It is the greatest way to meet people and to really get to know the city. I have met very cool people. They should all come to Arnhem to surf at my place!

Music: All kinds of music, depends on my mood. Certainly horrible: Hardcore and similar genres.

Books: Bible and all kinds of other books. I love adventure books. I like poetry. I love books written by cabaretiers. I should read more.

I hitchhiked through Europe with my best friend and I've been Busking in several city's and country's. Slept on all kinds of places. Met all kinds of people.
