ABOUT ME

I am absolutely in love with travel. I have been to Belize and Mexico on short jaunts, and lived in Turkey for a school year. Now I am heading to Norway to study at the University of Oslo in the Chemistry department! I am very excited about it, and hoping to make the most of the experience. I am planning on learning as much Norwegian as I can while in Oslo, and attending as many events and exploring as much of Norway as I can. I love motorcycles, outdoor sports, and many aspects of the arts.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is about experiences. The more experiences you have that make you happy, the better your life is. I'd rather get a very low income doing something very fun than make millions doing something I hate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had female flatmates recently who weren't comfortable with hosting, so I try to go to meet-ups and involve myself online with other CSers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met more CSers in everyday life and only later found out they were members than the other way around, but I would love to have a chance to host soon! As is, I want to learn my way around Oslo as quick as possible to be able to tour the sights with people traveling through and act as a sort of guide.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would have to say one of the most amazing things I have done personally is paragliding in Fethiye, Turkey! An awesome experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

One of my greatest strengths has always been academics. I am really in my element in a school environment, and I have been a tutor in most subjects (whether officially and getting paid or unofficially just to help out my friends) pretty much all my life.
