I live in North Portland in the overlook neighborhood. I am a bit of a weekend warrior climbing or snowboarding almost every weekend. Unfortunately my lifestyle doesnt really catre to couchsurfers on the weekend, but I will try my best to help on the week. That said I have 3 roomates and since they likely arnt comfortable with having surfers over while I am gone I sadly will have to kick you out at 730am. I get out of work around 430 we can meet up then if you still are interested

I graduated a few years back traveled for 6 months or so ran out of money while I was near Seattle, crashed on a friends couch there for a bit and moved down to Portland.

Music, Movies, and Books

A few to name.... Portugal. the man, alexander ebert and the magnetic zeros, alt-j, arcadr fire, arctic monkeys, the books, calexico, yeasayer, bon iver, foster the people... I also like electronic music like griz, gramatic, big gigantic. And of course I love all the classics, zepplin, the stones, clapton, pink floyd etc. The only music I really dont listen to is country, metal (although i love deftones and tool), and grimy dubstep

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just the simple things, one of my favorite things to do is go to lake michigan and watch storms roll in. This last summer I was in south haven watching one and all of south haven lost power, I was in way more than I bargained for but was incredible.

I like to cook, not the best at it but my brother is really good and some of it has rubbed off on me. I always try to leave the place looking better than when i got there. Also if english is not your first language I will love to help you, as well at the same time learn some new words to a new language myself.
