About Me
ABOUT ME
After 2 years serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Namibia, I now find myself knee-deep in grad school, working on a PhD in Immunology. While my days have me cooped up in a lab, I enjoy getting outside to bike, run, and hike on the weekends. Baltimore is also great for urban adventures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In a previous life I was able to actively surf and host but now find myself in a situation which allows for little of either. Hoping to rectify this soon.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A handful of wonderful couchsurfing experiences in both Africa and Asia and one stint at hosting in my off-the-beaten-track village in Namibia. Lots of informal couchsurfing with friends and more hitch-hiking (which I consider its own special form of couchsurfing) than I care to remember.
Interests
*Running--a few marathons but mostly just enjoy plodding along behind my more focused friends
*Biking--largely limited to a stimulating, pot-hole ridden commute
*Hiking/backpacking--hooray for sojourns outside the city!
*Seeking out adventure in whatever obscure corner I can find
*Big breakfasts and bodies of water (all types)
