One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking off trail deep in the Kings Canyon and Sequoia mountains with my dear compass and paper maps as my only companions. I've spent over 30 days out there and have been by myself far from trails and other humans for days at a time. I experienced the lowest of lows and highest of highs — often in quick succession.
