Overview
About Me
Hi! My name's Pola and I'm a 20-year-old girl from Poland ('Pola from Poland' - my parents must have been very fond of themselves when they came up with it). I study Psychology in Wales.
I consider myself as a pretty shy and not so talkative person - at least at first. When I get to know people I open up and become very cheerful and funny (well, maybe not the last one... But my jokes make ME laugh so it counts). And this cheerful part - it's more about giving sarcastic comments to everything and talking about the inevitability of death (Schopenhauer is my phone screen, that speaks volumes about me). What a company, right?
... I probably should write more about how awesome I am and why I am a perfect person to be hosted, but naah, I would have to rewrite everything. And I am lazy, too!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm looking for an adventure! I love meeting new people and making friends from several countries is just amazing! And, well, I can't spend lots of money on what I love - travelling and meeting people from over the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
There are few genres that I don't like, but generally it is too hard to say, what I enjoy listening to/waching/reading most. From the films it would certainly be "Silence of the lambs", "Beauty and the beast" (1991) and from books - "The Lord of the rings" and all the books of "The song of ice and fire" saga. There are also some series that I enjoy watching: "Game of thrones", "Sherlock", "Stranger things", "Vikings", "Orange is the new black" or "The Crown" I can't think of anything else at the moment.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I travelled to Sri Lanka for one month this year where I worked as a volunteering teacher in mental health facilities.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you a bit of Polish and how to make the most delicious (obviously Polish) food that's ever existed - pierogi!
