About Me

Currently I am psychology and anthropology major focused on writing my MA thesis. I am passionate about travelling, although I do not have too much time for doing it. Every trip is a new lesson for me, a new experience which makes my life richer. Choosing anthropology I knew that exploring other cultures and new places would help me understand better the human nature.

I try to stay positive and cheerful, but still some of my friends tell me I have a gloomy face, don't follow the first impression. Behind it lives cool open-minded girl you want to host :)

My head is a big bunch of ideas, memories and picturesque landscapes. I collect them just like snapshots in a photo album. Sharing the moments with great people is pure magic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always believed the insider perspective helps understand better culture and the climax of the city. I also want to share my awesome Warsaw experience - the coolest places are always hidden!

Interests

My main interest is traveling, but when I think about travelling it is not only visiting far away countries but also exploring the city I am living in or going by bike on countryside trips. I love my bike! I try to avoid the city communication system and use my bike as much as possible.

I am also a big fun of reading books, they keep me alive when it's cold and gloomy outside (as you know, here in Poland it is quite gloomy for 3-4 months in a year!).

Sometimes I use to jogg, love sports and outside activities! Especially long city walks!

Music, Movies, and Books

I admire a lot of writers. When I cannot travel I just take another book from the shelf...
Recently read: Idiot by Dostojevsky

I am fun of punk and new wave music, but also like world music. I am not a big fun of putting myself into a genre box, but recently I am listening to:
The Exploited, Cock Sparrer, Ariel Pink, Oi Polloi, Carribou, The Dumplings, Josef K, Monday Suicide and Die Antwoord

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I am quite pride about spending a night in Italian KFOR base in Decani, Kosova or about my great Balkan hitchhiking tour, but the coolest thing ever is to watch how a small, unhealthy kitten becomes a cool cat and your friend.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share a awesome vegan meal based on traditional polish kitchen, take you on a forest trip inside the city, show you the wild bank of Vistula river.

I also can teach you some polish and share cool stories from my trips and anthropological fieldworks.

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Kosovo, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Sweden, Ukraine

Countries I’ve Lived In
