[UPD: Georgia for winter 2025-26]

I am Polina from a small town in Russia, however usually I reside in St Petersburg.
I enjoyed spending half a year backpacking in Asia during cold months, and I am grateful to myself for making it happen for 2 years in a row - to combine full-time work and changing cities/countries every week.

Left a piece of my heart in every place I've been to and with every nice person on my way.

Now my next aim is to stay somewhere for longer and find a new home, so let's see what the future brings :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CS is a great community to meet people. I enjoy being a part of multicultural communities, it is nice to feel the connection with different people around the globe. Might be a cliché, but it is important for me to meet locals when I travel to a new place, to see their perspective on living in the area.

Also, hitchhiking is what I enjoy as well, it's a great way to meet people you'd never meet otherwise, and it takes you out of the comfort zone. It's valuable for me to practice it from time to time so as not to harden in your nutshell. However, now I would prefer to hitchhike with someone else for fun.
