Hey, my name is Polina and currently I am studying and living in Málaga, Spain. I speak Russian, Spanish and English. My passions are travelling, dancing, cooking and writing poetry. My professional goal is to work in the NGO sector with migration and conflict resolution issues. I am an experienced volunteer and love meeting new people because it helps me to open my horizons and question my beliefs. Grateful to be a part of this community and nice to meet you all!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I consider that Couchsurfing is a community of open-minded people that are eager to share part of themselves and their culture with the rest of the world. In my opinion, creating connections between people is one of the most important tasks nowadays and I want to contribite to it .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At the age 18 I went alone to Argentina as a volunteer.

Spent a year in Spain working for a social project related to migrants´ integration and met people from 27 countries, learned words and phrases in 8 languages.

I am proud of having been a teacher of English and Spanish at some point in my life and helping kids and adults to overcome their language barrier.
