Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love that I can not just come to a new city, but come to a new city to visit someone. It adds so much to the experience (and sometimes is more valuable than seeing a new place). I also just like the idea that "you have friends all over the world, you just haven't met them yet". It's so cool when there is a person you've never seen before from a place you've never been to, and you sit in the kitchen and talk about all kinds of stuff as old friends. I really feel couch surfing is a way to make the world a better and friendlier place.
