Hi there, dear reader!

So I'm Polina, a guest student at Babelsberg university for film directing. I moved to Germany couple weeks after the beginning of war and started my film career in here. Currently I'm mostly at uni, working on sets from time to time, and finishing my short movie about refugees. Back in Kyiv I studied philosophy, worked in theater and art galleries.

I'm still feeling super confused when I need to describe myself to be honest, but in general, I'm pretty talkative open-minded lefty, obsessed with film industry at the moment. I like good deep convos, despite a year spent in Berlin still prefer bar crawling over clubbing, maintain pretty active lifestyle, and never get tired from exploring the world. I lived in USA in my school time, in different parts of Ukraine, and now also in Germany.

Still there's more, but must be better to talk in person! I'm curious to meet you.

Interests

Obviously, I'm very much into movies, especially surrealistic indie ones. Still enjoy performing from time to time, even though being behind the camera somehow brings me much more pleasure. I like to write scripts and enjoy the process of creating something from scratch.

Oh boy... I feel like I've experienced a lot and have hundreds of stories to tell. I like discussing political and social issues over the cigarette, that may be my massive contribution. Well and generally, even though it doesn't sound shy, I've got some good vibe, so should be fun.
