Hi there!

We are family of two — Vlad and Polina (originally Vlad is from Far East of Russia, and I'm Siberian). We both work online in a field of travel: Vlad in marketing, I'm an editor and article writer.

We've been traveling hard for 3 years: visited 35 countries on 4 continents used only hitchhike, volunteering and other different ways to have fun almost without money.

We've been in a big trip, when in September 2017 we had our passports stolen in Chile. Because of this occasion we were forced to come back to Russia. Now we have to work harder and don't have enough time for volunteering, hitchhike and all these joys. But we're still on the way and can't stop yet. Less stress, but not less impressions!

We are non-vegetarian, like to drink in a good company (not vodka, as you could think), but we're flexible and don't mind if somebody don't like it. We're apolitical, multi-religious and never impose our views. We think, every point of view is interesting and correct.

Also we're very independent and attentive. Sometimes we like to hang out, sometimes not, and we are understand if you not in the mood or get up on the wrong side of the bed. We're easy-going, but don't like to constantly talking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because you'll never understand country when you sleep in a hostels. Also time to time we're hosting people in Russia to show our country inside and break down stereotypes about vodka, bears and cold there.
