Travelling Europe for a year...

ABOUT ME

After many years talking about it I left my great life in Melbourne to travel Europe for a year. I was working in the community sector as a volunteer coordinator. Social life was very social. Comfy life very comfy. I'm not running away from anything or desperately trying to find myself, just feel it was probably my last chance to do something this drastic. And so far, I think I was right...having an amazing time.

PHILOSOPHY

As cliched as it is to say..I love travelling! Though at the ripe old age of 27 backpacker hostels can at times get a little trying...so here I am giving Couchsurfing a shot. Much prefer the opportunity to spend time with people who know the area and want to share their knowledge. I know I love hosting people when in Melbourne. Genuinely interested in people and what makes them tick, love meeting those different to myself. I'm very friendly and easy going and love trying new things (my apologies for sounding like EVERY other profile)! Oh did I mention I love other cultures! And people! And travelling : ) It is difficult to break the mould in 200 words...

Interests

Big music fan...yes...all types, though always on the prowl for things unlike what I've heard before. My music is probably the main thing I miss whilst travelling. Always a happy tourist as art galleries and museums are wonderful. Gaining a real appreciation for art over the past few years, probably one of my favourite past times. Of course just being out and about (especially in Europe!) is a museum itself.
