About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Just make friends.

ABOUT ME

I am Chilean, industrial engineer who loves sports and hanging out with my friends and family.
I love travelling getting to know local people on the way, learning about their daily life, their family, habits, problems, dreams etc. etc. I have made big friendships in this way that make travelling on my own as much enjoyable as trips with friends.

About my personality I would say I am a calm person, very freindly, honest and curious, however the best description can be found on the references below (you sometimes get impressed about how people's perceptions of you differs from your own).

Perhaps not a great cook but I like to help cleaning and drying and I am big dog lover.

PHILOSOPHY

Be nice, work hard.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests

Sports, reading history, learning languages, Learning, Learning, Learning.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I really enjoy everything but my favorites are Pulp Fiction - Memento - 12 years slave, Will Pharrell's etc. To learn, to laugh, to impress myself...
Music: Favorites are Oasis, The Cure, Alicia Keys, Soda Stereo, some Reggaeton.
Books: I read history, politics, economics... basicly non-fiction. Sometimes classics in fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Organized a 150 volunteer social entrepeneurship and built houses for people on the South of Chile.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Spanish, English... Probably things about other cultures that I've learned travelling would be more interesting.
I can guide a tour in Santiago and Valparaiso-Viña and teach how to make sushi!
I like to learn what is important for the person I'm speaking with and why. And I usually like to ask about politics in their country (inmigration, religion, economics, women, freedom) but don't be afraid thinking I will put you to test ;).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Description of the couch below!
Besides that I can show them the important places of Santiago and the places where my friends and I like to hang out. Also can explain the social side of Santiago showing you the different neighborhoods and the dynamics of the city and its recent political history if you're interested.
Also I can also show you Viña-Valparaiso if we have time.
