ABOUT ME

I'm curious, sometimes bordering on inquisitive. I'm opinionated but I try to be as tolerant as I can. There's really not much that could shock me, but I do have a hard time with cheating and lying.

Just so you know, I am LGBT-, poly-, and kink-friendly (although why I would know about your kink I have no idea; please don't tell me ;-) ).

PHILOSOPHY

I try to enjoy everything that I do and therefore only do things I enjoy; so far, I'm lucky enough to be able to do it, and it works well for me.

Also, I like to think that I'll try everything at least once. There are a few exceptions, but I'm a firm believer of "don't knock it 'til you've tried it".

I hosted quite a few people in my flat in Mulhouse (France), and enjoyed every single experience so far.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mostly as a host (about 20 people/groups of people this far), occasionally surfing... All of it good!

兴趣

I'm very interested in Politics, Human rights (especially concerning the LGBT community), Polyamory, and How to contribute in making the world a better place considering I'm lazy and rarely finish what I start...

I have a thing for learning new languages (although my accent often sucks for a long time before I get it right), and I like to get to know people.

I love partying. Beer and other sweet alcoholic beverages are my friends :)

Oh and of course, travelling! I wish I had more time and money to travel more, but I've been lucky enough so far and intend on continuing as soon as I can.

And although I haven't seen it yet, I can already tell you the Brazilian film Do Começo ao Fim will be one of my favorites.

TV shows: Supernatural, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Chuck, OZ, Queer as Folk, Veronica Mars, Lost, Friday Night Lights, Big Love, Battlestar Galactica, ...

I read a lot too, but have difficulties choosing some favorites. Baudelaire is a genius. I enjoy Russian literature very much. I'm completely fascinated by shocking and/or depressed and angsty true stories. And for those who know the term,I admit to being addicted to good fanfiction.

Music: Soft rock à la K's Choice, Jem, The Cranberries; The Coors; French music: from old variety to new rock scene; Ska and Punk to get moving or in a good mood, even clasic music to relax when the mood strikes... I really listen to very different things.
Just no jazz, rap or extreme techno please.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

A 9 day road trip over New Year's Eve going from Clinton, Connecticut to Baltimore,MD, Orlando, FL, Cap Carnaveral, FL, Miami, FL, Key West, FL, Miami again, Daytona Beach, FL, Washington, DC, and back to Clinton.

Intense, exotic, refreshing, exhausting, amazing.
The fireworks for NYE in Miami really sucked though.

Also in Miami: a man skate-boarding on the streets with his dog. No really - with the dog ON the board. Made me laugh.
