ABOUT ME

Born and raised in a small village in rural south England, my family emigrated to New Zealand when I was 13 years old.

I always missed the atmosphere and culture of Europe, so once I finished my college education- I persuaded my mate Dan to take a few months out of our gap year to come traveling overseas with me.

We've spent the latter part of 2008 living in England and touring over to The Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Germany where I was introduced to CouchSurfing as an alternative to sleeping in the Berlin train station one night when we ran out of money!

Having only stayed with a CS'er and attended CS meetings in Berlin, Germany, I'm rather in experienced- but hope to meet many more people involved in the project in future travels :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Loved it so far! Met some really interesting people in Berlin who treated me like family :D

Interests

Aviation and flying- I'm studying to be a pilot and just love the feeling of being above the ground, I find it very peaceful and therapeutic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watched a Real Madrid vs. Barcelona footy match at Nou Camp in Spain. An indescribable atmosphere- I loved it!
