ABOUT ME

Travel is one of my main interests in life, so I've taken a chance to live in a different country for a few years - Hungary! Six months into my new job here and I still love Budapest and all the challenges that come with living in a country without knowing the language. Luckily my job means I have opportunities to travel to other countries fairly often as well. I'm a fairly down to earth, relaxed person. I get on pretty well with most people I think.

At the moment, pretty much all my time is taken up with training for the Budapest Marathon, photography and trying to learn Hungarian. I love most other types of sports, exploring my new home city and just general loafing :-)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Volunteering at a school in Nepal in 2008 has to be a highlight. I've also done two 'overland' journeys through Europe (London to Istanbul and back again / London to St Petersburg via Belarus)
