I haven't used this website yet. However, I did hitchiking around a part of Europe and I experienced how it is to be hosted by people who were strangers (but no longer :) Yes, it was great

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a great hitchhiking adventure: from Greece to Turkey, Romania and back to Poland also with sailing and hiking in the mountains.
I sailed some seas in Europe.
