About Me

So about me, I am a 23 year old girl from India. I love animals and I serve 5 cats and have 1 dog :P I also love reading books (what better friends than them, always always show up, after all) I also like traveling around and as far as current position is concerned, I am living in Switzerland for a summer internship. So I am trying to look as much of Europe as I can! (I am absolutely loving the place) I have just started couch surfing, so sorry for the self complimentation, but I will be an excellent guest :P I make friends fast and have lots of stories to share! Don't drink, don't smoke (have no problem with others doing it)

Music, Movies, and Books

Books, although the list of books I have read is long (and has some disasters in it) my top 5 (currently) are, Game of Thrones - it is the tremendous amount of hope in each character that I love, despite the conditions they are in they keep on fighting, living and loving! Then Harry Potter, I won't even explain why I love it so much! But this is the book that I read as a child and still read from time to time (because, eh, revision) and has taught me power and beauty of love and friendship! Then there's PG Wodehouse books with their perfect worlds and all sunshine, instant feel good after a horrible day :) Then there's this book by Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged. Although I don't think the philosophy is implementable in real world (the book believes in complete mertitocracy but the underlying assumption (unstated) is of equal opportunity and hey, we don't have it yet) but still it's a refreshing read and something to aim towards. And a recent book, Sita by Amish. It is about Indian mythological story, Ramayan, portrayed in a modern way, and unlike before Sita is no perfect woman, nor is she a damsel in distress, go feminism!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
