I am a curious , fun-loving and caring person who loves listening and talking to people. I like people who come across as honest & with whom I can be completely candid. I like asking people questions about their life . I also like helping people & giving advice . I have a younger sister & being the older sibling I have learnt to compromise , keep the peace & be sensitive to the needs of others.

By profession I work as a food scientist at Mondelez International the makers of the amazing brands of Cadbury , Milka , Oreo & Tang. I am very passionate about my work & learning new things everyday keeps me motivated.

I work with a very diverse team of people which includes Polish , Malaysian , Hungarian , French , American & British and I really enjoy working with them and learning about their life.

My philosophy in life is simple and is best described by these :

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing because I want to meet genuine people and learn new things about their cultures , their lives , experience new things & share my experiences too.

I am also interested to see how I can cope up when I am pushed out of my comfort zone.I believe travelling makes you more tolerant , sensitive & adaptable. It also teaches one to make quick decisions & be prepared to face the consequences. It helps break pre-conceived notions and prejudices one may have developed over time .

I believe people all over the world have the same basic desires in life and you can relate to them if you look beyond the superficial things that separate us. We all face the same kind of problems but have different ways of dealing with it , we also celebrate happiness differently and I want to explore these differences. Couchsurfing will give me an opportunity to meet people with different belief systems to mine.

The world that is worth experiencing is not in books or throughcomputer screens . Travelling puts you face to face with the dynamic realities that exist all over the globe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done so far is to learn to drive a yacht all by myself in the backwaters of Jacksonville. It was truly an exhilarating experience
