I am currently living in Strasbourg, France (until mid-June 2017), completing a medical internship.

I am a recent grad from the University of Texas at Austin, and every chance I get, I try to go somewhere new. I joined Couchsurfing after hearing about it from some fellow traveler friends, and I look forward to utilizing it to discover amazing places and meet interesting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to see new cities and locations, but rather than see the typical tourist destinations, I prefer to go off the beaten path and get into the local scene (the main reason I joined Couchsurfing!). It's hard to really get a feel for a place with only a few days, but the chance to meet people who really know their way around is so invaluable.

I love museums (especially science and natural history museums), and I love old architecture and historic buildings. I like to make good use of my time in a new place, so my itinerary is usually pretty packed, but I love a nice cafe or a beautiful viewpoint to take some time and relax.
