About Me

I'm a very shy, awkward person when you meet me at first. I would greet you with an awkward smile and weird handshake at first.. But let's just wait for us to become friends! :D

I love traveling to new places, being quiet during a sunset session and syncing bird movements with music (it's great fun!).
I like connecting people with their amazing stories and experiences. My main go-to is always a cup of tea with a good conversation that provides me with a different perspective, a whole lot wider.

I try to help as much as I can (if you need a friend or a place to crash). Without expectations in return, we let go of that little selfishness we carry and it makes the purpose of it a whole lot better and easier. I also like walking around tiny lanes, making friends with dogs, talking to insects, listening to history stories, clouds, trains, ukulele, camping and much more.

I play the harmonica, shakers and tiny percussion instruments. I am a part of an Indie Pop/Folk band and we are all about the tiny instruments and happy vibes. I am a mother of a cat (Cairo) and a dog (Coco) and I love all animals (to me conversations with animals hold much more value and no language! :p).

I have had a rough childhood. So I'm here, trying to help all my friends overcome anything with someone beside them. I try my best to ensure no one feels alone when they actually are. We all really are in this together. Happiness and content overcomes the world.

If you'd like to spend a good sunset session followed by jam sessions, starry nights and a cup of delicious tea, come over to my city and I'm here to show you around and make you fall in love with it, with it's history and architecture and to come back for the food and my sassy cat.

The places on top of my travel list right now are Tehran, Nepal, Bali, Georgia, Budapest, Iran, Lisbon and Lebanon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love getting to know people from various cultures, carrying different experiences and music. I believe, people who love to travel and play music are interesting people and have a different perspective on how we want to live and survive in this world.

I'm here because I would love to show people around the amazing places in my city not a lot of people know about. Connect with people from a different level and create life-long friendships.

As a fellow traveller, I love the idea of couchsurfing, helping people crash because the whole point of traveling is to save as much as we can on hotels and spending the most on moving around, food and other accommodations. It makes sense and you can stay in different places for a longer time.. Isn't it amazing!!??

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

With a fear of heights, I had never imagined to travel to a mountain, let go trekking on it.

I trekked to Kheerganga, Kasol, Himachal Pradesh. It took me 6 hours, giving up 5 times and crying myself to death, well almost. I overcame my fear, with a sprained ankle, somehow managed to trek (well we did a 10 km trek to Waichin valley (Kasol) a couple days before we did Kheerganga, but it wasn't as difficult and we had an amazing experience with a tiny hail storm which is exactly when I tripped over and sprained my ankle :p) the entire way and after my coldest night among mountain pine and snowy peaks, I had the most mesmerizing 2 days followed with clouds passing us by, sunsets at 8 PM, an amazing meteor shower night with a tiny bonfire in the fucking cold and waterfalls among snowy peaks with shepherds passing by with their herds.

It might sound corny but it really did change my life, also made me realise how difficult life is for other people and my entire perspective of struggle changed, it made me respect people more and have more gratitude.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you are around, I can teach cooking (as much as I can), make you enjoy sunsets and following birds with music, have a peaceful middle of the night conversations among the sound of crickets and insects.

I can also teach you a little harmonica and dancing while we're at it. :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a very awkward yet friendly person who will try my best to help you around the home, kitchen and in any way I can. If I'm lucky, I can sleep on the couch. If not, on a bench. I prefer to be lucky. :p

I will always be a helping hand, keep my surroundings clean and ask you a lot of questions about your city!!
