ABOUT ME

I like to keep a beard on my face. Yup, I do realise that's a weird way to start this, but for some reason it's oddly important to me! Haha. I'm 21, left home when I was 17 to go travelling instead of continuing with college (where I was studying an ND in Music Tech) and I caught the travel-bug.

I try to keep moving as much as possible, because it feels more natural, but I always end up back in London- it just feels like home to me.

ANYWAY, I'm into my music- a pretty varied taste accounts for the almost 30 days of straight music on my iTunes. I'd really like to become fluent in 20 languages before I die...so far I'm on about 2 and a half...slow & steady! Slow & steady!

I make money etc through freelance web-design, which has made me meet a whole bunch of real interesting people seeing as I'm trying to only make websites for creatives!

Phew. okay. Rant over.
Oh, wait- one more thing! Interesting fact: if you google 'Pookage' I'm pretty sure I'm the first 3 pages of results! :D

PHILOSOPHY

There's a line from a book called 'Another Roadside Attraction' that a lass from Woodstock lent me in '08 which sums up my philosophy perfectly:

'The principle difference between an adventure and a suicide is that the adventurer leaves himself a margin of escape; the slimmer the margin the greater the adventure.'

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't really couchsurfed apart from with friends & friends of friends, so I don't have much to put here. My rule of thumb is that if someone gives me a bed then I do the washing up! haha.
