After years of adventure and traveling, I have created a fulfilling, simple life with my family. I try to use less money and more loving-kindness to experience people and places from the heart.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is about love. Living with as few material possessions as possible, with as few ties as possible, frees one up for love. Live as though the world is the way you wish it were.

I would like my very social and exuberant daughter to meet awesome people and their children.

I have had great experiences surfing around the United States, Ireland, the UK, France, and Spain. Thank you!

Intereses

My daughter. It is so fun and fascinating to watch a growing human being.

I have recently been enjoying sewing. It's kind of meditative and the scientist side of me likes taking measurements and being precise.

A dream come true was hosting an all-night outdoor silent disco party for all my friends. Dancing makes me happy.

I enjoy walking around quaint towns, relaxing in nature, swimming in cold creeks and rivers, and having a warm, cozy beverage at a cafe on a chilly morning right when it opens. I love bicycle commuting and forming bicycle "gangs" and roaming the town.

The Book of Flying... creative story-telling and valuable lessons! Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand changed my life. Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts is fantastic. I love historical novels set in the Middle East or India like Shadow of the Moon by M.M. Kaye. Got lots of music in my life right now: Shpongle, Hallucinogen, Bassnectar, Thievery Corporation, Nine Inch Nails, Mercan Dede, Bonobo, Citizen Cope, Emancipator, Ganga Giri, Mishka, Morcheeba, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Zoe Keating and so many more, thank god!

Climbed the sacred mountain Croagh Patrick on Reek Sunday with tens of thousands of people.

Wandered spontaneously and organically in the La Sal mountains with three amazing friends and discovered the sexy tree.

Swam alongside manta rays in the Caribbean Sea during a torrential downpour.

Learned to play music freestyle from the heart and soul.

Experienced the magnificence of Delicate Arch illuminated by January's full moon.

I have knowledge of healthy ways of eating, architecture and design, living simply, web design, film making. I want to learn about medicinal plants, how to hunt and fish, crafts, and other skills useful for daily life. With a small child to take care of 24/7, that's not happening... but maybe one day! I want to offer my listening and hearing skills to people who need to feel safe to talk about life.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I'm definitely an introvert and when I settle into your place for the night, after I put my daughter to bed, I will have some quiet time for myself. No worries about me being loud or taking up too much space. I am friendly, considerate, and will leave your place cleaner than I found it, if possible.
